"HELP ME, I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT!"
Weight loss to me is sort of like the early 1990's in South Jersey, when Dorothy and I almost went bankrupt. I was working 5 and a half days a week. I had men working part time for me. But I was only breaking even working at the max. I went to my accountant to ask his advice and he told me to work more. Thank you Rich!! ----I was not going to work 7 days a week. It was only a matter of time before I would get sick or work would slow down so I needed another solution. Thank You Lord for Your Wisdom. Dorothy had tried to tell me our whole married life but I didn't hear her even though my ears did. Part of the formula is this: If your budget is $950 per week and you just can't bring in more income, work from the other side; live more frugal. In other words, learn to cut costs, so instead of needing $950 you might only need $850. How Simple! After a lot of prayer and about two years, we found ourselves in Albrightsville Pa., starting a whole new drywall and painting business. We learned to live more frugal, cut costs, and actually enjoy life. In fact, I only needed to work 4 full days a week. In the past, you know, back when my hair was thicker and brown, I had quite a weight problem. The only way I knew to lose weight was obviously to stop eating. If I don't eat for a day or two I'll lose weight. The problem was when I started eating again; I ate twice as much because I was so hungry. We'll, losing weight is like making money. You do it from different directions. It works. It works well. You stay healthy. You live long. You enjoy life. You enjoy your food. We need to increase our metabolism. We need to strengthen our immune system. There are foods that are bogging us down and stealing our energy, that help us to gain tremendous weight. There are foods that make us sick and tired and ------yuck. Let's try and figure this out Real Weight Loss: Formula : Less fat, more plant, broom the colon = WEIGHT LOSS WEIGHT LOSS FORMULA: 1: Less Fat! We all need fat in out diet. But too much fat will bog us down. For instance, it takes about 6 + hours to walk off the calories of a Mac Donald's Big Mac. That fat will bog you down. You won't feel like walking for 6 hours. So you will probably eat more fat 6 hours later because you're frustrated. A little fat is good. It helps build us up. Fats that actually work well on the body are raw nuts and seeds, avocado, coconut, olives, etc. 2: More Plant! Foods that increase our metabolism and give us energy are your plant-based foods. Most of our diet should contain foods like greens, leaf lettuces, raw and cooked vegetables (carrots, beets, cabbage, broccoli, etc.), raw vegetable juices, raw fruits, berries (blueberries, elderberries, huckleberries, etc.), and whole grains (brown rice, whole wheat, etc.). These foods, especially the raw fruits and vegetables, give us the vigor to burn those extra calories easily. We'll feel like walking 6 hours and burning calories. Our brain will have lots of oxygen in it and we'll feel good. Plant foods, like lots of salad, tend to fill you up and feel satisfied. This is because plant foods contain lots of fiber. 3: Broom the Colon! The colon is so important for overall health. If you keep it clean (along with a good diet), you could actually live 120 healthy years, and ride your bike with your friends till death do you part, just like Doctor Norman Walker. The colon can be the seat of all disease and a home for parasites. A daily dose of fiber and healing herbs (like we sell) can do amazing things. We have seen people who take care of their colons like this: get their sex lives back after years of nothing, get literal face lifts (younger and smoother), lose lots of weight (most Americans have 10 to 15 lbs of junk in their colon), and get such an energetic lift in their whole countenance. This new energy will also increase your metabolism and help you burn more calories. If you implement in some way, each of these three criteria (less fat, more plant, broom the colon), into your life style, I guarantee you will lose weight. It is not a temporary miserable run of the mill, you know, one of those weight loss diets. It's a way of life that gives rewards physically, mentally, and spiritually. Just ask Moses. He was 120. He wanted desperately to go with his family and friends into the land of milk & honey. He had plenty of energy and strength. He didn't want to die. Because of the forgiveness of Christ, I plan on spending all eternity (billions & billions & trillions of years) in Heaven. But when I had that incurable colon disease, I realized greatly how much I would like to live on Earth as long as I can, and live healthy. It can be so easy, like a game. How many good things can I add in place of bad things this week? Maybe you can add that dose of fiberblend every day to get started. And then, after a week or so, add Barley Max or Sea Silver. Then add a couple spoonfuls of raw honey a day. See that, you're already on your way. Next thing you know, you'll actually be exercising and sun bathing. Did you know that the sun actually helps your body heal? Well that’s another subject for another day.
