House", now with three locations; Hometown Farmers Market in Tamaqua,
Green Dragon Farmers Market in Ephrata, and at our home base in Dorrance,
near Mountaintop. We are a family owned Christian ministry/business whose goal is
to provide only the best all natural healthy-healing products. You will
find that our products help the body to rebuild, rejuvenate, and restore
itself in the areas of energy, health (lack of sickness and disease),
youth and longevity, mentally, physically and even spiritually. The
ministry/business was born right after Mark was diagnosed with an
incurable colon disease in 1994. Having been given no hope by the
medical establishment, Mark decided to look for a natural alternative
method of healing, and he found not only complete healing, but a
wonderful world of renewed youth, health and joy. It is our desire to
see others experience the same healing and wholeness; to pass on to
others whatever information and products we know has been a benefit to
us.
At The Honey House,
we carry all of Honey Gardens Apiaries natural plant medicines from
northern Vermont, including their spun-unheated-unfiltered raw honey,
the very best honey and plant medicines you can buy. We have Wild
Blueberry Honey from Maine, Orange Blossom from Florida and Wild Flower
from Vermont.
Known for their many healing properties, we have Dorothy’s completely
natural Aroma-therapy/Skincare products, such as her bath & body soaps
made with pure essential oils, moisturizing lotions, beauty cream, old
fashioned perfume oils, all-natural lip balms, room/ linen sprays, and
massage & bath oils. Last, but not least, Dorothy’s 100% handcrafted
beeswax candles, renowned for their beauty, quality, and healing
benefits.
For maximum health, we carry the finest, most pure whole food
supplements from Hallelujah Acres.
We also offer ancient Ear Candles made from 100% beeswax, and fresh bee
pollen from the valleys of the Rocky Mountains.

In June of 2007, our
daughter Laura graduated from “The Natural Gourmet Institute” in
New York City with a Culinary degree.
Also in June, Laura was offered a job at “Candle 79”, the finest
vegetarian restaurant in NYC. She would have worked under the
Pastry Chef, Jorge, who supplies the Whole Foods Markets in NYC
and he has been offered the entire country. Laura turned it all
down.
Laura decided instead to continue and expand her own business.
She started a shop inside Hometown Farmers Market calling it
“Laura’s Sweet Gourmet”.
Natural Culinary Chef Laura works with mainly organic vegan
cuisine. At the market, you’ll find lots of organic confections,
such as dark chocolate truffles, decorative cakes, middle
eastern wraps, oriental spring rolls and a different assortment
of cookies and muffins each week, along with other surprise
delights. |

Almost immediately after
graduation, Chef Laura catered her first wedding in western
Maryland for 100 people. The picture of the three-tier cake
is below. Believe it or not, this all organic cake is dairy
and egg free and just as or more delicious than the finest
dairy and egg filled wedding cake that you’ll find.
 Chef Laura does personal chef work, catering and special
orders. She also does gluten-free. Her favorite pastime
though is creating and decorating cakes, such as for
weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

 Our Locations
New Location “Green
Dragon Farmers Market”
As of November 9th, 2007, The Honey House will be opening a shop at the
Nostalgic Green Dragon Farmers Market, located in Ephrata, Pennsylvania,
just north of Lancaster, Amish country. We are opening an outside
walk-in store in the Tower Village (previously called the Barn Yard)
section of the market.
 Started on March
11th, 1932, by Noah Burkholder, the Green Dragon has grown into one of
the largest farmers markets on the east coast of the United States, with
20 acres of parking and 10 acres of shopping, and over 450 vendors from
8 states and 10 countries. For directions and more info, the website is
www.greendragonmarket.com . The market is open every Friday year round
from 9am until 9pm.
The "Honey House" is located in
the beautiful small town of Dorrance in the Pennsylvania Mountains. Our
main location for business is at the nostalgic Hometown Farmers Market,
open year round on Wednesdays from 8am to 8pm, just 2 miles north of
Tamaqua just off route
309, then west one half mile on route 54. You'll find us
across from the Amish chicken stand inside the old long building.
Several times a year we also enjoy providing our products at local craft
shows and fairs.
 We
now can process your order through the speed and safety of PayPal.
That means your order can be put through this website from anywhere!

electronically send a check payment from your account.
As you see products you are
interested in on this website, you simply click the "Add to Cart"
